Travelling/ holiday essentials -H
Hi all,
Seeing as Jess and I are going on holiday again, it seemed a fitting time to share my travelling must haves. Here are just a few of the items I simply couldn't travel without:
Seeing as Jess and I are going on holiday again, it seemed a fitting time to share my travelling must haves. Here are just a few of the items I simply couldn't travel without:
- Hand wipes, a small packet of hand or face wipes is brilliant for grubby fingers or removing make up.
- Lip balm, my lips suffer dramatically during a flight so a good lip balm is essential
- Neck pillow, this is only really needed if your a big sleeper like I am
- Eye mask, again this is a personal must have for sleeping in all environments
- Jumper, a warm and cosy jumper doubles up as a blanket or pillow if need be.
- Snacks to keep energy levels up on long journeys
- Water, no explanation needed staying hydrated is vital
- Ipod, I wouldn't be able to travel without my music to listen to.
Thank you for reading and I hope this will prove useful next time you have to pack a bag! -H xox
The Disney Tag
Today we are doing the Disney tag,
1. A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience.
Jess: swimming through the sea like Ariel, think how much fun that would be!
Hannah:The dance with Prince Charming at the ball in Cinderella *swoon*
2. An unforgettable experience moment you've had at the Parks.
Jess: when me and Hannah went to Florida when we were 11, all of it was so amazing, however the Paris Disney is where most of my Disney memories are. I have a memory of me, Hannah and our dad's in the Disneyland hotel swimming pool, having a great time!!
Hannah: Me and Jess trying to pull the sword out of the stone in Disneyland Paris when we were very little.
3. What Non-Disney song(s) that reminds you or brings back memories of Disney and or the Parks?
Jess: I agree with Hannah about the parade song, (the 'hey there hi there ho there it's a Disney kind of day' one!)

Washington DC -H
Hannah here!
I have finally returned from a weeks trip to Washington DC. I travelled alone and stayed with a relative living in downtown DC. I had the most incredible time sight seeing and exploring Washington on my own. Here are some pictures from my greatest adventure yet...
This is the area I lived in:
I of course captured the iconic view of the monument from the Lincoln memorial:
Then I visited the Thomas Jefferson memorial:
Visiting the white house was definitely a highlight for me. I also met the funniest old woman who not only took my picture, but also gave me her opinion on what my best side was and how I should wear my hair. I have found a new bestfriend, sorry Jess.
I simply couldn't leave America without buying the infamous "cronut", a cross between a croissant and a donut can never go wrong in my eyes.

I have two older sisters, one that lives very close, the other lives far away, so I do not usually get to visit one of my sisters however a couple of weeks ago I spent 4 nights at her house and I had such a lovely time so I thought I would share some of the things we did.

We visited the beach, a country park, the cinema to see 'The Fault in our Stars' and done lots of shopping and playing with my sisters new kitten, Indie. Overall it was a lovely weekend and I just wish I could go there more often,
